THE POSITION

As the Senior Developer/Solution Architect, you will ensure that solutions meet business needs and are compatible with existing architectures. You will support and drive the technical and architectural decisions for your product team. You value simplicity and are willing to challenge technical constraints and procedures to achieve robust, maintainable, and scalable solutions. You will be the visionary force behind the technical solutions and are responsible for planning and developing the architectural runway in collaboration with the VGCS global architecture forum. You still have a strong interest in coding and have a willingness to put in practice your findings and support the rest of the team.
If you want to be part of our exiting journey and awesome team, we have an opportunity right here! We are now looking for a Senior Developer/Solution Architect within Customer Portal, Digital Channels.

You will work in close collaboration together with two development teams, Product Owners, User Experience designers, Front and Back-End Developers and Business Analysts. You will be responsible to drive the technical and architectural activities within different initiatives and coordinate the overall solution regarding the architectural deliverables.

• Design the overall technological architecture of the Customer Portal products with the help of the teams and the support of our Enterprise Architects.
• Be part and/or lead pre-studies on features for future business opportunities to determine and shape integrations that will be used in the years to come
• Ensuring that business and user needs are combined with solid technical solution
• Taking the role as a leader within your competence area and act as a mentor
• Identify and remove technical impediments, in collaboration with the Digital Channels Architects forum and VGCS Enterprise Architects
• Provide the teams with policies and guidelines regarding software engineering practices to ensure stability, scalability, and performance
• Act as an enabler of Agile and DevSecOps practices in collaboration with product and support teams
• Code, bring you passion and skills to the rest of the team
