Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE

As a Senior Developer Support Specialist on the Developer Platform team, you’ll primarily support stakeholders actively building integrations & facilitate and manage all usage of the Dialpad developer platform.
You’ll work closely with engineering teammates & product leaders to gain a strong understanding of the Dialpad Ecosystem, especially our wide range of platform APIs, services & integrations. Using this knowledge you will support external partners, ISVs and Dialpad customers in building customized solutions & integrations with the Dialpad platform. This will include mutual problem solving, troubleshooting & technical solutioning e.g. answering questions from developers such as “How can I automatically send an SMS to our sales team every time one of my customers enquires about our products?”.
Given the technical nature of this role, some coding skills are required; you should be comfortable writing & sharing code snippets making use of APIs.
This position reports to our Senior Product Manager and has the opportunity to be based in our San Ramon or Vancouver Office.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Support Dialpad customers & business partners in developing bespoke solutions using the Dialpad platform.
  • Establish efficient communication channels with core partners & developers.
  • Provide technical solutions including code samples, architecture diagrams & step-by-step guidelines solving for unique customer requirements.
  • Troubleshoot & resolve problems for new & existing stakeholders.
  • Write compelling & simple to understand technical documentation & guides / tutorials.
  • Manage onboarding & quality control of new ISVs & developers.
  • Assist internal Dialpad stakeholders with developer platform usage.
  • Broadcast periodic updates & improvements to platform developers.
  • Effectively organize & track key partner initiatives.
  • Resolve & respond to customer reported defects related to platform usage.
  • Act as a point of contact for key partners, attending meetings & calls as required.
