The Developer Experience tribe offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the productivity and satisfaction of developers here at Danske Bank.
We are excited to announce the new position of Senior Development Consultant for soon to be established Developer Advocacy squad within the Developer Experience (DX) Tribe. As we aim to establish a new Developer Advocacy squad within the Tribe, this role is central to our increased strategic emphasis on enhancing our engagements and support to the developer community.
As a Senior Development Consultant, you will be instrumental in shaping and communicating the unified strategic direction of our Developer Advocacy squad. Your role will focus on enhancing developer engagement, collaboration and their adoption of the Tribe’s tools and practices through effective communication, feedback and co-creation formalization, and community support.

Responsibilities:
Together with the Product Owner, you will establish and promote a coherent, centralized developer interaction and communication strategy, supporting the dissemination of the Developer Advocacy strategy and roadmap.
Create solid relationships within the developer community and across organizational boundaries, enhancing collaboration and mutual understanding (also towards upper-level management).
- Support the Product Owner and HR lead in building up the Developer Advocacy squad.
- Manage and optimize communication channels to enhance clarity and engagement across developer communities.
- Organize and moderate events and forums that promote dialogue and collaboration among developers and management, enhancing community cohesion and tool/process awareness and adoption.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of business implications and strategic alignment, ensuring that community efforts support overarching business goals.
- Enable a bottom-up communication and feedback structure to ensure correct capture- and prioritization of developer pains and feedback.
- Provide a structured approach to co-creation with developers, and identify avenues for co-creation, evaluating existing initiatives and interactions.

We imagine you have minimum 4 years of experience in consultant, developer relations, community management, or a similar role in a tech environment.
You bring proven history of managing developer communities and organizing tech events and you have high communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey insights and recommendations.
Furthermore you;
- Have ability to analyse and integrate community feedback into actionable strategies and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
- Understand IT processes and architecture
- Are a proactive problem-solver who anticipates challenges and works efficiently to find solutions
- Have responsibility for continuous learning and professional development in the tech and business analysis fields
- Have the ability to analyse data to identify potential improvements and extract meaningful insights
- Are experience working in an Agile context, with an understanding of Agile practices and tools, is beneficial but not required
