REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree qualified with at least 5 years’ experience in a product design environment
  • A demonstrated ability to communicate and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Microprocessor firmware development experience for low power devices
  • A firm analytical and practical understanding of fundamental electronic theory.
  • Experience in both analogue and digital design through full product lifecycles
  • A high degree of self-motivation together with an eye for detail and the ability to investigate technical concepts and problems in depth.

EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING WOULD ALSO BE BENEFICIAL:

  • Design and implementation of digital filters
  • Interfacing with other devices via Bluetooth and USB
  • Development of test harness and tools using C# / .NET
  • Use of circuit simulation packages
  • Schematic capture and PCB design for small form-factor products.
  • ISO 13485 or similar quality systems
  • IEC 60601 family / IEC 62304 standards
  • Previous work with medical devices
