Description:

JOB SUMMARY

As a Senior DevOps (11842), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in software development with a focus on designing and building scalable applications.
  • Professional/ Advanced English skills.
  • Expertise in Integrated Development Environments (IDEs), Continuous Integration and Delivery tools like GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps, as well as change management tools like JIRA.
  • Expertise with DevSecOps tooling such as SonarCloud and Snyk, along with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, ARM/Bicep, and Pulumi.
  • Knowledge of observability and monitoring tool instrumentation, including logging, tracing, and monitoring, as well as version management with GitHub, BitBucket, and similar platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Streamlining processes involves automating and streamlining the software development process with a shift-left mindset, breaking down silos between development, QA, and operations teams while ensuring security across all stages of the SDLC.
  • Communication and collaboration prioritize interaction within and across teams, providing processes and tooling, including self-service tools, to ensure high-quality, reliable software delivery.
  • Monitoring and optimization are responsible for instrumenting system monitoring and optimizing system performance with preventative work.
  • Troubleshooting requires handling issues promptly and efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime and continuous operation of CI/CD pipelines and lower environments (Dev, Test, UAT).
