Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS)

To continue in our growth, we are recruiting a DevOps Engineer who will focus on AWS.
Our primary deployment cloud for the Monolith software platform is AWS. This role involves managing and developing our AWS infrastructure to support our growing customer base, complex ML deployments, and higher concurrency workloads. Our DevOps stack is built on Kubernetes hosted on AWS EKS and managed with Terraform. We also run self-hosted applications like Temporal and Airbyte on Kubernetes.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

• Autonomous in getting things started and completed, end-to-end - with little/no supervision while maintaining alignment with product & developers requirements
• Excellent communicator, both at low-level with other developers and higher level with team lead and managers
• Laser focused on identifying and progressing on critical path, both for themself and others
• Strong sense of ownership and eye for details and specifics

Prior experience (Must haves):

• 7y+ of DevOps experience (last 4y+ on AWS)
• Experience writing, editing, and reviewing Golang, Python or any other popular high-level programming language in a professional setting
• Kubernetes administration (2+ years) using tools like Helm, Kustomize, KEDA
• Ability to write and debug bespoke CICD pipelines using modern tooling like Github Actions, Gitlab, Circle CI
• First-hand exposure to best practices when writing infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Cloudformation, Bicep

• Lead the creation of the IaC for our platform on AWS with Terraform
• Own the AWS DevOps across all our deployments
• Integrate AWS management into our existing Github Actions CICD
• Help upskill the team to adhere to AWS best practices
• Contribute to the development of our IaC on Kubernetes with Helm and Golang
• Ensure security best practices are enforced in our platform deployments
