Description:
As the DevOps lead you will design, implement, and maintain our infrastructure and deployment processes.
Your expertise with cloud, Infrastructure as Code, and container orchestration will ensure the stability, security, and scalability of our services. Collaborating with development and operations you will optimize our systems for peak performance, reliability and security.
Tasks
You’ll report directly to the CTO and own all things DevOps
Our tech stack consists of React, JS/TS, Go, Docker Postgres, REST & AWS so exposure to similar will set you up for success. You will work as part of a growing, distributed engineering team of 7 consisting of BE, FE, & QA, you will:
- Manage security, introduce API gateways, and make public APIs accessible to customers
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure using AWS and Terraform
- Manage production and development software environments, ensuring high reliability and uptime
- Implement and manage autoscaling solutions to handle varying workloads
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure and deployment processes
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems
Requirements
- Extensive DevOps experience working with Postgres and Kubernetes
- You’ve used Terraform for infrastructure management and AWS managed services (RDS, S3,ECS)
- Experience with Container orchestration and microservices
- Infrastructure as code
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI)
- Experience with REST API’s, Load balancers and reverse proxy
- DevSecOps, Data Engineering knowledge and working with Python and Golang would be nice to have
- You are happy to spend 3 days per week in our Berlin office
