BPaaS is a new business unit within SimCorp, delivering Technology Enabled Business Services, leveraging SimCorp with the best of our market-proven technology platforms. The team consists of top tier experts to create world class investment accounting services (IAS), investment operations services (IOS) and data management services (DMS). Ensuring successful adoption of our technology platforms is crucial to ensure we reach our full potential, which is why this role is essential to us.
We are looking for a Senior DevOps engineer, who will join exiting team of experts building integrations in dynamic ecosystem, which consist of multiple applications. We strive for automation in every step of the process, hence good analytical skills, ability to deal with large volumes of information and high pace of changes would be essential to be successful in this role.
What you will be responsible for

In your daily work, you will collaborate with your team to:

  • Design and implement automated solutions to enable seamless integration of multiple applications in dynamic ecosystem.
  • Ensure fully automated monitoring, security, optimal performance, and scalability of the developed solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Become a recognized expert by absorbing knowledge from team members and mentoring new colleagues.

What we value

We expect you to be good at several of the following and be able to - and interested in - learning the rest.

  • Hands-on experience with Azure and related technologies (Azure DevOps pipelines, Function apps, Service bus, Cosmos DB) is essential.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Bicep or Terraform).
  • Understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD, firsthand PowerShell scripting, REST API experience.
  • Azure networking and related certifications would be a plus.
  • Conceptual understanding of TDD and Agile practices (Scrum and Kanban)
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Adaptability for change and proactive attitude is essential.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
