Description:
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to drive the effectiveness of a support team.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play an integral role in the Customer team. The ideal candidate will excel in adopting new technologies and continuously expanding upon core knowledge. Utilizing analytical skills, the candidate will derive facts quickly, methodically, and accurately.
You will contribute to designing and implementing efficient monitoring and alerting solutions for GCP applications, enabling both the stakeholders on the Client side and the Support team to handle issues proactively.

REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of relevant experience in DevOps or a similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in Linux systems, with relevant experience or certifications
- Strong background in system event logging, forwarding, and load balancing
- Hands-on experience with GCP, including EC2 engines, networking, and CloudSQL
- Expertise in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform
- Experience in configuration management tools like Puppet
- Demonstrable skills in automation using scripting and programming languages
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Datadog and Google Cloud Platform
- Proven ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience in agile methodologies, preferably Scrum
- Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with developers and support team members to understand stakeholder needs for application monitoring and alerting
- Propose optimal solutions considering the existing customer infrastructure
- Implement automated solutions for monitoring, alerting, and reporting
- Optimize the performance and scalability of infrastructure systems
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues
- Ensure system security and compliance with industry standards
- Mentor junior team members and lead by example
