Keystone Solutions is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our consultancy team for an ambitious client modernization project, running until 2027. As part of our dynamic consultancy model, you will work directly on client-site engagements, applying your expertise to implement high-level solution architectures. Your Role as a Keystone Consultant
As a Keystone Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for transforming high-level solution architecture into practical implementation, collaborating with other experienced professionals, including enterprise architects. This position requires hands-on experience and the ability to work autonomously, driving analysis, design, and implementation to support the clients modernization goals.

• Design, deliver, manage, and maintain client applications across the full stack within a cross-functional, agile team.
• Lead by example in implementing and optimizing cloud-native solutions and drive forward projects with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
• Contribute to the sprint lifecycle, offering your expertise in planning, refining, and developing cloud-native architectures, APIs, and microservices.
• Collaborate closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure effective communication and delivery.
• Stay at the forefront of technological advancements, continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge while sharing insights with your team.

Skills and Experience We Value

• Cloud-native development experience: Ideally 10 years of hands-on experience in cloud technologies.
• Expertise in API design, development, and microservices: At least 8 years of experience.
• Proficiency in Java SE and Java SE10+: Minimum 8 years with Java, 5 years with newer versions.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments (preferably Azure).
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and event-driven systems.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in large, agile teams.
• Preferred but Not Essential
• Experience with Quarkus framework and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of federal government IT frameworks is a plus.
• Understanding of European interoperability and Domain-Driven Design.

Languages
Proficiency in two of the following: Dutch, French, English. Knowledge of all three is a bonus.
Work Environment
While collaboration is key, you will be required to work on-site three days a week at the clients office in Brussels, ensuring close-knit team dynamics and smooth project rollouts.
