Overview:
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to play a lead role in software design, architecture, requirements analysis, investigation of new technologies and software development for the delivery of a portfolio of high-profile projects.
Qualifications:
- Third level qualification in Computer Science/IT/Software Engineerin

- People management skills - introducing and building ways in which people can learn from each other, encouraging mentoring and the transfer of knowledge by designing and delivering learning interventions
- Team work and emotional intelligence
- Good self-management – continuous performance is both an objective and a mind-set

Experience:
- A minimum of 5+ years’ experience working in DevOps/Development/Architecture role is essential. This is a senior position so you will need to be able to take ownership of projects
- A full understanding of the DevOps tools available on the market, including open source and licenses ones
- Scrum – Experience in Agile Scrum based environment is essential
- Hands-on experience with either Azure or AWS
- Solid understanding of the full software development life cycle including release management
- Applicants must be eligible to work in the specified locatio
Responsibilities:
THIS ROLE IS BASED IN NENAGH.
Responsibilities:
- Agree new ways of working with relevant stakeholders
- Install, configure and maintain related tools
- Ensure application performance and availability (e.g. set up and manage APM tools, reduce latency, automation, etc.)
- Monitor end-user analytics and app metrics to adjust infrastructure to ensure optimal performance
- Enhance the deployment process to ensure that quality code without bugs is rolled out in a continuous manner, and that it does not negatively impact app performance
- Collect and evaluate user feedback, rapidly act on it before users start to complain at a broad scale
- Create a smooth process to detect error root causes and automate
