ABOUT YOU:

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and qualities:

  • Strong experience supporting CICD infrastructure and tooling, including designing and building pipelines.
  • Support of version control systems e.g. Git, GitLab, GitHub.
  • Proficient in the use and support of Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, Ansible/AWX and Artifactory.
  • Strong experience in containerisation and orchestration with Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker (ECS).
  • Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and hands-on experience with various AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, CloudFormation, and more.
  • Strong programming and scripting background. e.g. Python, Bash, Powershell
  • Highly capable in infrastructure provisioning. e.g. Cloudformation, Terraform
  • Experience mentoring and leading from the front on a technical perspective
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues quickly.
  • Willing to participate in on-call support within the team as required

Responsibilities:

Your duties & tasks include but are not limited to the following:

  • Be an enabler for software and operational teams, working closely to build and integrate modern tools, best practices and techniques into our environments.
  • Contribute to the securing of infrastructure and systems so that the data and operations of the organisation are protected.
  • Undertake the development of new features and enhancements as part of the Squad’s prioritised backlog.
  • Be a high-energy driving force for positive change, improvements and successful delivery within the team.
  • Actively participate in agile delivery team activities such as stand-up, technical and business showcases, sprint/team planning, and retrospectives.
  • Analyse and communicate technical or architectural risks and apply strategies to minimise them.
  • Ensure software design and architecture support and is aligned with the broader RWWA technology and architecture strategy
