As a Senior DevOps Engineer at ScalePad, you will be instrumental in optimizing and enhancing the infrastructure supporting multiple products across our organization. You’ll leverage your .NET/C#, Azure, and DevOps expertise to create and maintain scalable, reliable, and efficient systems. By collaborating with various teams, you’ll help shape our DevOps practices, drive innovation in our processes, and ensure our infrastructure supports the diverse needs of each product and team.

Responsibilities.

  • Lead the analysis and evaluation of current system architectures across products, identifying key areas for optimization and enhancement.
  • Acquaint yourself with our diverse tech stack, including C#/.NET, Azure, CI/CD pipelines, and SQL-based data storage.
  • Understand the unique challenges, business models, and product requirements across teams, ensuring tailored DevOps solutions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to balance resources, improve system logging, and reduce operational noise across multiple systems.
  • Proactively address Azure-related challenges and partner with Microsoft when necessary for effective resolution.
  • Create a comprehensive roadmap to support system scalability and performance in the medium to long term across multiple products.
  • Drive automation initiatives to streamline operations and minimize manual processes, enhancing efficiency and reliability.
  • Communicate progress, strategies, and key changes to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
  • Develop detailed operational playbooks for system maintenance, troubleshooting, and non-automated tasks, empowering support staff with clear guidance.

Qualifications.

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps and cloud infrastructure management within a SaaS environment.
  • Proficient in .NET/C# in a Windows server environment and extensive experience with Azure services and cloud infrastructure.
  • Expertise in Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipeline design, version control, and automated deployment processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to optimize system performance and scalability across multiple products.
  • Familiarity with managing large-scale data processes, including Azure Data Factories, SQL Server, and Elastic Pools.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of partnering with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work autonomously, driving projects to completion while keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Knowledge of secure DevOps practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Ability to mentor and guide other engineers, fostering growth in DevOps best practices across teams.
