Description:

We at Security Compass are on a mission to create a world where we can trust technology by enabling organizations to shift left and build secure applications by design. Our flagship product, SD Elements, helps organizations to reduce cyber risks by taking an automated, developer-centric approach to threat modeling, secure development, and compliance. This, combined with our industry-leading e-Learning offerings, allows us to support our customers in accelerating software time-to-market without sacrificing security.
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Software Engineer (reporting to the Manager of Engineering Operations) with a strong interest in infrastructure automation and a solid understanding of software development and deployment. The ideal candidate will take ownership of deployment, scaling, automation, and configuration management, while bridging development, operations, and Linux systems programming to lead initiatives.
We are open to candidates across Canada/North America. We are a remote-first company with a head-office in Toronto. We don’t mandate team members to come in on a particular schedule, however we encourage team members to come into the office to foster connection with their colleagues on a schedule that works for them personally.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with and learn from an experienced team in the Engineering Operations department
  • Your role will be critical to integrating, deploying, and supporting our flagship product SD Elements on Kubernetes for our enterprise customers
  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud solutions for provisioning all deployments in labs, production, and on-premise environments.
  • Continuously improve cloud-related tooling, monitoring, and diagnostic capabilities
  • Support and advise software engineering teams in the design of scalable architecture
  • Creating, maintaining and presenting technical documentation (E.g. design, architecture, configuration, troubleshooting, etc.) for audiences ranging from team members to executives.
