This role can be a full-time position or a freelance opportunity, offering flexibility to the ideal candidate.
REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
- Extensive experience with Azure Cloud services and solutions
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps tools and practices
- In-depth knowledge of Azure Security services and best practices
- Proven expertise in hardening systems and applications against security threats
- Experience conducting security audits and assessments
- Strong ability to create clear and detailed documentation
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools and methodologies
- Skilled in automating build and deployment processes
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Experience mentoring and training team members
Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage security measures to protect systems and applications
- Conduct security audits and create comprehensive documentation
- Provide expert advice on security best practices and strategies
- Work closely with the architecture team to design secure and scalable solutions
- Automate build and deployment processes to improve efficiency and security
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or similar
- Share knowledge and skills with team members to elevate overall team capabilities
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices, including NIST-800
