Senior Dietitian in Renal Medicine/Nephrology

at  Mater Hospital

This post holder will work with his /her colleagues in the renal dietitian service ( 5 dietitian posts), to deliver the nutritional care to this group across the service, including outpatients, inpatients, haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and post transplantation.
Each dietitian will have a particular area of assignment to lead. Work hours for different renal rotations reflect this, including the OPD clinic times and a requirement for the “later” dialysis shift ( 4pm-8pm) to be provided with a dietetic service each month.
Periodic rotation due to competency development, vacancies, changing hospital services, and cover for colleagues will be required.
