Job Description
Your team: Be part of a team and brand going through exciting transformation. Sun Publishing sits within the Sun Business Unit at News UK. It is responsible for the sales, operations and commercial product strategy and partnerships for The Sun media brand and its platforms. The Sun Publishing Sales team is dynamic working, in a multi-disciplined way to create compelling advertising solutions that drive revenue for our business and results for our clients.
Your role: Focused on planning, developing, implementing, and managing top-of-the-funnel digital marketing campaigns and initiatives for The Sun. This role emphasises driving awareness and consideration of our promotions, products, and brand through innovative and impactful strategies. Hands-on experience with platforms such as Meta is essential. Collaborating with The Sun’s Head of Digital Marketing, this role covers all areas of digital marketing, from audience targeting and creative strategy to managing agencies.
Day to day you will:
+ Managing and optimising digital campaign strategies across all Sun campaigns, collaborating with wider marketing teams to ensure audience and creative consistency.
+ Setting the standard for customer-first thinking when planning and activating digital initiatives across The Sun.
+ Lead briefing and approval process for digital creatives with Pulse, ensuring campaign consistency and brand guidelines are adhered to at all times.
+ Developing and maintaining professional relationships with MSix, Pulse, wider marketing stakeholders, optimising ways of working and driving collaboration.
+ Enhancing digital tracking and reporting capabilities through building relationships and collaborating with Insights, Data and third party suppliers to optimise campaigns and drive digital effectiveness.
+ Supporting The Sun’sHead of Digital Marketing to develop the function, enhancing use of tools, technology and agencies to drive digital engagement and/or value from Sun users.
+ Developing a deep understanding of The Sun products and propositions as well as digital audiences, customer engagement and user experience.
+ Bring innovation to digital marketing: keep informed on platform and industry trends and share any new developments or opportunities with the wider team, trialling relevant ones for the brand.
+ Champion the adoption of digital and technology within the organisation. Driving change to deliver market-leading digital campaigns.

+ Extensive marketing experience, accomplished in creative development of major marketing campaigns, the detailed execution of those campaigns and leading a multi million pound media budget.
+ Digital first thinker – best in class experience of both digital media channels and digital creative executions, this will be first hand.
