SENIOR DIGITAL DESIGN ENGINEER | AI | FPGA
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Digital Design Engineer to join our clients dynamic team, based in central Cambridge. In this role, you will work on implementing high-performance AI inference solutions on FPGA, contributing to our clients SystemVerilog IP library and building complete FPGA design solutions for various customers.
Offering a hybrid environment, you will be based in the office 3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement high-performance AI inference solutions on FPGA.
- Contribute to and expand our IP library using SystemVerilog.
- Build complete FPGA design solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Collaborate with software and machine learning engineers to integrate FPGA designs with compiler, runtime, and driver stacks.
- Design, test, and optimize highly performant, maintainable, and extensible code.
- Work with the latest AI-capable FPGAs from multiple vendors.
- Generate parameterizable IP components for reuse across various applications.
- Achieve timing closure through floorplanning and test solutions on board.
- Make low-level software interface code changes to support integration with software stacks.
- Contribute to defining coding standards, test methodologies, and Agile scrum planning within the FPGA team.
