How do we work?
As a part of the PR & Social Team, you will be cooperating with the Creative Team (20 colleagues) as well. Our marketing teams are located mostly in the UK, and Poland.
The position will require a full understanding of the brand, product, and market in which it is competing, so knowledge of trading and the financial markets is advantageous but not essential, as training can be given.
We look for a freelancer on a 4-month contract but with the opportunity for an extension into 2025.

In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for ‘visual storytelling’ to bring educational market content to life on the company’s external channels.
  • Develop assets (templates, blog visualizations, YouTube videos, reels, product promos, website banners, static graphics, etc.) within the framework of the OANDA brand.
  • Demonstrate a flair for Social Media content, producing assets that meet the spec of different social platforms.
  • Pitch, present, and champion ideas & concepts to senior team members and the company’s stakeholders.
  • Take each project from conception to execution across all channels accordingly (creative direction & artwork).

What skill set do you need, to be successful in this role?

  • 5+ years of experience in a Client-side or digital agency environment, designing for digital mediums.
  • Passion for design and eagerness to collaborate with other creative people.
  • Experience in a B2C business.
  • Working knowledge of the latest versions of Mac OS, Figma, Adobe Suite, Photoshop, Canva, etc. with animation experience.
  • Proficiency in G-suite and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Interested in Social Media content trends and relentless in suggesting new, engaging executions in a dynamic environment.
  • Highly adaptive and familiar with the systems, regulatory requirements, policies, and department processes of a global matrix organization.
  • Candidates must be able to show examples of their work by providing a link to their portfolio.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in Jira would be advantageous.
