Description:

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Lead and direct the day-to-day activities of the Business Development team
  • Identify and quantify all strategic acquisition targets with direct reports
  • Work collaboratively and extensively with legal, real estate, finance, HR and operations through the deal cycle to ensure success of capital investment
  • Negotiate parameters of all deals
  • Resolve all deal issues as necessary
  • Review legal documents, review of all financial valuations, identify risk attached to acquisition opportunities
  • Develop key relationships with industry and internal stakeholders
  • Present opportunities to VP, Pharmacy Planning and Pricing along with senior executive team
  • Manage deal pipeline/flow/cycle
  • Provide acquisition support to all pharmacy and adjacent business building activities
  • Lead the annual acquisition planning and forecasting process
  • Divestiture management, where/when applicable
  • Manage the follow of communications with various stakeholders, IT, Compliance and Market Analytics teams
  • Facilitate the activities of store integration resources
  • Participate in pre-capital meetings, RE strategy sessions and site tours with senior leaders
  • Travel as required
