We’re seeking a future team member for the role of SENIOR DIRECTOR to join our CORPORATE STRATEGY team. This role is located in NEW YORK, NY - HYBRID.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS:

Partner with the executive team to enable organic growth and drive BNY’s long-term strategic priorities
Translate business problems into structured projects that you will lead in end-to-end delivery from hypothesis development to final conclusions
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders by fostering engagement and translating strategic recommendations into execution-oriented outcomes
Leverage well-honed advisory skills to work with stakeholders to elicit information, think objectively and analytically, and influence end results positively

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, WE’RE SEEKING THE FOLLOWING:

15+ years of related experience; must have proven track record working at global management consulting organization and exposure to broad financial services and/or industries experiencing rapid transformation.
MBA or other advanced degree preferred
Experience in working with executive committee members and leading/managing high-performing, strategically minded teams
History of leading and managing teams to solve high-impact problems and develop actionable, complete solutions for the most challenging issues facing the Bank while
Experience fostering a positive, collegiate and inclusive team environment for junior colleagues
Intellectual curiosity with a proactive mindset, interested in shaping the future of financial services through one of its major stakeholders
Capacity to handle multiple simultaneous projects and remain stoic in the face of uncertainty
A global mindset and experience working across a diverse set of environments
