NeoGenomics is looking for a Senior Director, Data Product Manager who wants to continue to learn in order to allow our company to grow. This opportunity is open to remote candidates and Fort Myers, FL location.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Leadership position to drive Neo’s first formal product management function for data products and solutions. Lead cross-functional initiatives to promote the adoption of data products and solutions across the data monetization spectrum (internal and external). Develop new product offerings including business case, requirements and operational model. Work cross-functionally with legal, privacy, and commercial sales to ensure scalability. Work collaboratively with the core commercial team to identify and prioritize above-the-test solutions for core clinical products. Work collaboratively with Informatics leadership to identify needed data partnership opportunities that will allow Neo to complement and enable pharmaceutical companies to enhance their clinical research, accelerate drug development, and improve trial design. Identify new markets and customer verticals for Neo data products. Relentlessly prioritize, with grounded execution capability while maintaining aspirational long-range vision and strategy. This is a market-driven, product focused position, and is not technical per se (although technical understanding is key). The Senior Director, Data Product Management will work collaboratively with Neo’s digital technology team to build roadmaps, understand gaps, and iteratively deliver data solutions that deliver financial value to Neo

Experience and Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, or Business required
  • Masters or MBA preferred
  • Degree in Data Science, Statistics, AI or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of product design or management in a data, tech, AI or highly transferrable industry
  • Deep understanding of pharmaceutical company data needs throughout product lifecycle
  • Background in oncology data, especially CGP or other large health data set
  • Experience with AI products or services
  • Experience with software development and project management tools (Jira, Trello, Aha, etc.)
  • Experience working with data scientists and/or bioinformaticians
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to act as translator from scientific and technical jargon to business concepts
  • Experience in the use of healthcare data and PHI, including regulatory compliance and best practices
  • Proven track record in using information technology to deliver usable data products and information solutions for commercial us

Responsibilities:

  • Drive market research on VOC, sizing, and other upstream data needs to ideate and prioritize data product and solutions offering
  • Serve as the translator between commercial client needs and technical product development, translating market insights, customer needs and preferences into user stories, clear product requirements and continuous improvements
  • Build and use product analytics to drive decisions
  • Bring robust MVP product development methodology to bear in prioritization and product development execution
  • Identify industry partnerships to drive adoption and utilization of genomics data, including but not limited to research and development opportunities
  • Evaluate market potential and develop strategic roadmap for future product offerings
  • Establish KPIs for product management and execution
  • Support double digit YOY revenue growth for informatics business unit with product development and new partnerships
  • Understand, differentiate, and communicate NeoGenomics data offerings against competitors and understand synergies with partners
  • Evaluate AI commercialization applications on cross-functional teams
  • Ensure compliance and best practices in the use of healthcare data and PHI, adhering to relevant regulations and standards
