Your Mission
- It is your core responsibility to develop and implement financial strategies to enhance the performance and profitability across our European operations
- You oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- You will collaborate with subsidiary financial directors to streamline processes, share best practices, and drive consistency in financial reporting and analysis.
- Additionally to the European projects in your responsibility you will participate in the implementation of our global projects and ensure the financial alignment and effective resource allocation
- You will work closely with Headquarter and Global Functional Leads to address local needs and propose ideas for aligning with and improving corporate strategic guidance.
- To assess financial risks and implement controls to mitigate exposure and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, global accounting guidelines (German GAAP), and global treasury guidelines, as well as adherence to global reporting deadlines is an important part of your tasks
Your Talents
- Minimum of 7-10 years’ proven experience in financial management and controlling roles, preferably within a multinational/global company or complex organizational structure
- Strong understanding of local financial regulations, taxation, and accounting principles
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Strategic mindset with a track record of driving results and leading change initiativesDemonstrated experience in P&L management and project-based work Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coordinate a diverse team of financial professionals
