Position Overview:
As the Senior Director of Influencer Marketing at Blue Yonder, you’ll be responsible for influencer and social media strategy, governance, and execution. Reporting to the VP of Influencer and Content Marketing, you will help create and drive strategies that amplify Blue Yonder’s thought leadership, increase brand awareness, and positively shape our presence in the market.
What you will do:
- Develop a strategic, global influencer marketing strategy, negotiate and oversee marketing partnerships, secure speaking opportunities for Blue Yonder executives, etc.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with a wide range of influencers — social influencers, paid media influencers, technology and transformation advisors, professors, etc.
- Regularly engage global influencers through briefings and event participation to deliver the latest Blue Yonder news and content and drum up interest.
- Own the development and implementation of our organic social media strategy across various platforms.
- Guide and collaborate with the broader marketing organization to drive social engagement and growth through compelling content and innovative social campaigns.
- Develop and execute strategies to boost our executive and employee social advocacy programs.
- Monitor social media trends and industry developments to stay relevant and timely.
- Measure and analyze the impact of influencer and social strategies to optimize and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure all external-facing content is on brand and aligns with our corporate messaging.
- Collaborate closely with the extended marketing leadership team including PR, Content Marketing, Demand Generation, Events, etc.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 10 + years of experience in influencer marketing, PR, journalism, or social media.
- Strong track record of building partnerships with influencers.
- Strong understanding of the evolving social and media landscapes.
- Passionate about storytelling with the ability to uplevel product narratives, simplify complex technology topics, and create compelling business content.
- Prior experience managing teams and agencies.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, strategic thinking, project management, and problem-solving skills
