Responsibilities:

  • Work as the head of the IT Cloud & Applications pillar of IT as well as the manager of the IT Cloud Engineering team, which is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and monitoring all cloud-native infrastructure in Lionbridge.
  • Oversee vision, strategy and governance for cloud-native infrastructure which supports the implementation of technology systems in Lionbridge.
  • Manage a global group of team leaders in the IT Cloud & Applications pillar as well as a global team of cloud engineers, mentoring them, training them, growing them, and helping them building their expertise.
  • Develop, document, and drive best practices in this area of domain.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams as well as R&D teams to design the best possible cloud architecture for each application or service.
  • Keeping the Lionbridge infrastructure and services within your area of domain up and running with a five-nines philosophy, contributing to building automated monitoring and alerting for high-availability emergency response processes.
  • Monitoring and optimizing infrastructure, subscription/licensing, and technology costs on a monthly basis within your area of domain.
  • Plan and manage the budget for your organizational structure.
