We are looking for a Senior Director of Importer & Business Development Farm Technologies (m/f/d) to lead our team in Bönen. GEA Farm Technologies is a global agricultural technology company specializing in the development and manufacture of innovative solutions for dairy farms. With a wide range of products and services, GEA Farm Technologies offers state-of-the-art technologies and systems to optimize milk production, animal health and farm management.

Your responsibilities and tasks:

  • Manage and drive a team of local and regional business development managers for the new equipment (NEQ) portfolio
  • Be accountable for the order intake and sales budgets
  • Take responsibility for developing and managing the Farm Technologies importers globally
  • Identify white spots and proactively find solutions to develop the region or country
  • Ensure active support for countries along the whole sales process from lead generation to specification and project execution
  • Coordinate activities with Service, Product Development, Farm Design, Large Projects, PM and Supply Chain &Production
  • Improve Channel Development and importer development in collaboration with existing organizations as well as identifying newopportunities and countries

Your profile and qualifications:

  • University degree in Agriculture, Business development and/or marketing would be suitable or comparable
  • If no formal degree, then similar proven experience could also be accepted
  • Broad management experience across different functions
  • Experience in change processes and fast changing organizations
  • Proven background in managing global teams.
  • Professional experience in enacting change within a matrix organization
  • Communication, leadership and accountability
  • Proven “can do” attitude to go beyond the regular scope of responsibilities
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Willingness to travel and be mobile
  • Fluent in English and German language
