Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will wield market intelligence to drive our customer delivery success. In collaboration with executive leadership, you’ll elevate Genoa’s profile and performance by defining strategic initiatives and championing our full suite of products and services.

AS THE SDMD, YOU’LL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

• Strategic Leadership: Crafting and implementing strategies to establish Genoa as a dominant force in the shipbuilding industry, guided by data analytics.
• Team Management: Directing cross-functional teams in Marketing & Communications, Business Development, and Product Development to fortify our market position and sustain growth.
• Market Intelligence: Conducting comprehensive market assessments to align product strategies with industry demands.
• Sales and Revenue Growth: Driving business development efforts, securing new accounts, and optimizing sales projections to fuel strategic growth.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivating robust relationships with executives, colleagues, and external partners to broaden and diversify our service offerings, with an expectation for North American and potential international travel to support market development and customer management.
• Operational Excellence: Promoting continuous improvement and integrating innovative products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and profitability.
