Senior Director Oncology Services

Overview:
The Senior Director of Oncology Services is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic planning, assists with process improvements, and identifies significant program processes that affect patient care and clinical performance. This position is also responsible for the operations of radiation oncology and oversees outlying radiation oncology departments with oversight of clinical outcomes program.
The Sr Director Oncology Services serves as a liaison internally and externally, to ensure a comprehensive oncology program in all settings, supporting the needs of the community and Novant Health NHRMC’s strategic imperatives.

• Accountability includes capital and operational budget preparation and maintenance, performance improvement and quality management, customer relations and community outreach.
• Provides direction to performance improvement initiatives, supports professional and regulatory preparation efforts, ensuring a focus on improved patient outcomes.
• In applicable settings, works with leadership and staff to develop and implement effective DNV accreditation readiness.
• Collaborates with clinical and non-clinical areas in the development of research projects intended for publication or grant funding application.
• Develops and implements financial analysis and reporting system to include budgets, variance analysis and resource controls
