GEA Group Services GmbH in Düsseldorf takes over the corporate functions of GEA AG, including areas such as corporate finance, legal and IT, which provide central services for all company divisions. The location also houses the Digital HUB and the Center of Excellence (CoE).
We are looking for experienced and motivated Senior Director Quality, Health, Safety and Environment - Germany (f/m/d) for deployment in Düsseldorf as soon as possible.

Your tasks:

  • Predominantly works operationally - achieves set targets.
  • Manage incident investigation and Near Miss reporting process
  • Develop training plans to ensure country QHSE resources are suitable trained and competent
  • Provide monthly HSE reports to country Management Team and Divisional Heads
  • Ensure effective HSE communications throughout the country organization
  • Approval and Communication of lessons learned and improvements
  • Provide HSE legal compliance support to the country organization Management Team and Divisions
  • Ensure the implementation of corrective and preventive measures arising incidents, audits and / or non-conformity of products and equipment.
  • Notifies Country management team and respective Divisions of significant non-conformances
  • Provide Management Review information for Country Managing Director
  • Establish and monitor Country and divisional Objectives, Targets and KPI’s
  • Develop HSE Culture Change Process
  • Management and Implementation of the country organisation’s HSE change management process
  • Leads in the development and implementation of the organisations Emergency Response and Disaster recovery process

Your profile and qualifications:

  • Completed engineering or natural science degree with special focus on safety
  • Specialist in occupational health and safety (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit)
  • Trained ISO 14001 and 45001 Auditor
  • Experience in quality and HSE system regulations and international norms
  • Experience with implementation of corporate quality and HSE systems
  • Work experience in functional organizations
  • Profound know how of country norms and regulations (min. 5 years experience)
  • Profound resource management skills
  • Profound project management skills
  • Experienced incident investigator
  • Experienced in delivering HSE related trainings
  • Experienced in change culture and HSE cultural change process
  • Know how auditing technics
  • Experienced ISO Manag. Systems representative
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Good knowledge of IT systems
  • Monitors and checks work to meet quality standards; demonstrates a high level of care and thoroughness
  • Deep understanding of business on a broad international scale
