Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for a Senior Dot Net Developer with AWS to join the team of IT professionals in a role. If you meet our background requirements and skills and are in search of an opportunity with these skills and expertise, here is the opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

• Full Stack Software Development implementing Object Oriented Analysis and Design N-Tier, client-server, and web applications using .NET tech stack .NET Core, .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET (MVC, Web API, Web Forms) using Entity Framework, ADO.NET
• Proficient in database design and development using relational database like SQL Server & PostgreSQL.
• Experience leading application team.
• In-depth knowledge of programming languages C# and Python and Knowledge of design patterns and principles and .NET patterns
• Plan, prioritize and review status of work items for the entire development team
• Design and review code written by team members, mentor and train in skilling up.
• Attend feature refinement sessions and backlog refinement sessions and provide estimate based on the initial understanding
• Lead innovative ways on infrastructure, performance optimization and automation
• Engage with customer and address their needs and concerns related to the solution implemented
• Estimations of technical tasks, in collaboration with offshore teams, considering all the activities involved and associated risks/challenges.
• Hands-on experience working with ETL frameworks such as SSIS, AWS Glue and Informatica.
• Hands-on experience in AWS cloud-native development using Amazon web services like EC2, S3, RDS, AWS Glue, Lambda, Cloud Formation, CloudWatch, Code Pipeline, IAM, etc.

Required Qualifications

• Microsoft Technologies: ASP.NET Core, .NET 6+, ASP .NET MVC, Web API (REST)
• Database: MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, SSIS package
• ETL: AWS Glue, SSIS, Informatica
• Programming languages: C#, Python
• Cloud: AWS Native Development (EC2, S3, RDS, AWS Glue, Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, CodePipeline, IAM, etc.)
• Project Management Tools: Rally
• Source Control Tools: GIT, Jenkins, UDEPLOY
• Scripting: JavaScript, JQUERY, Angular/React
• UI: HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Telerik Kendo UI
• Experience working with Entity Framework, ADO.NET, UiPath
• Knowledge of design patterns and principles and .NET patterns

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for the position is between $65,447 – $117,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
