Description:
The Gleneagle Hotel & INEC Arena certified as a Great Place to Work and Failte Ireland Outstanding Employer is looking for a Senior Duty Manager to join its Management Team.
The Gleneagle Hotel is a dynamic property of 279 bedrooms, extensive event spaces catering for both corporate and entertainment events , leisure facilities, a variety of food & beverage offerings and self catering apartments all on site.
Our guest range from families on leisure breaks, conference delegates, people attending gigs or other events in the hotel, people attending special interest breaks. The key attribute for any manager here is the ability to be agile and adaptable to the various guests needs. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 3rd level qualification in Management, hospitality or related field is preferred but not essential
- Experience in a management role in hospitality or retail.
- Team player with exceptional communication skills
- Proven ability to work on own initiative
- Interested in learning & development and open to new experiences
Responsibilities:
- Taking full responsibility for the hotel for early or late shifts making sure all areas are open, set up properly and welcoming to our guests.
- Supporting all department but particularly food & beverage departments in high demand periods.
- Dealing with a wide range of guest queries.
- Participating as a full member of the management team supporting where needed.
- Completing of daily security walks, daily reports and passover reports
