Responsibilities:

Do you want to make a real difference? This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic, supportive, and friendly Organisational Development team. As a driver of positive change at ARU, you will lead on projects and change initiatives that enhance ARU’s inclusive culture and improve the experience of staff.
One of the key activities you’ll be involved with is the annual EDI staff survey. Having recently closed the survey, you’ll have the opportunity to use your wealth and breadth of experience within organisation development principles to uncover insights, identify opportunities for improvement, work with faculty/service leaders to craft and implement targeted local actions, and evaluate long-term impact.
This role will also lead the introduction of ARU’s new EDI Training Framework. This framework builds on our general mandatory EDI training and is designed to empower colleagues with the knowledge and tools to support colleagues on specific EDI topics. From creating engaging content, to delivering impactful sessions and supporting a team of trainers, your work will be crucial to ensuring colleagues feel supported and that they belong at ARU.
Other initiatives you’ll be involved with are implementing institutional action plans, guiding faculty-level EDI charter applications, and developing policies and change proposals that make a difference.
The ideal candidate will have a degree and appropriate level of experience and evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the role, or part qualified in a relevant professional qualification and appropriate level of continuing professional development. With experience in working in an EDI environment, Project management and co-ordination and a strong administrative background, you will have an in depth understanding of the equality, diversity, and inclusion national agenda and how it relates to HE.
