Description:

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • University degree or equivalent, preferably in electrical engineering with a focus on medium voltage, low voltage, power electronics, or similar,
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a system-critical environment, preferably in an international company,
  • Knowledge of complex system designs, from medium voltage to low voltage, involving generators and UPS systems with power ratings up to 40 MW,
  • Deep understanding of electrical engineering,
  • Proficiency in German and (technical) English at B2+ level.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Electrical Engineer within our professional team, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of all electrical supply and distribution systems in Austria’s largest data centre.

  • Planning, coordinating, and documenting all necessary routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance of the systems while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and availability of critical infrastructure (no downtime)
  • Responsible for all electrical tasks, particularly the operational management of medium, low voltage, and UPS systems within the data centers
  • Taking the lead on electrical projects (renewals, conversions, or expansions) from conception to commissioning with a focus on efficiency improvement
  • Developing operating procedures (MOPs), change requests (CRs), standard operating procedures (SOPs), etc.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement measures of everyday operations and Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE)
