Enereco Spa is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its team. The candidate will report directly to the Area Manager and the project managers for the assigned projects.

EDUCATION AND SKILLS

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in the role, preferably in the Oil & Gas and industrial sectors;
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering;
  • Good knowledge of spoken and written English, with a minimum proficiency level of B1;
  • Good knowledge of spoken and written French, with a minimum proficiency level of B1, will be considered a plus;
  • Knowledge of the main software tools for electrical design (e.g., ETAP, Dialux, Zeus, Flash, etc.);
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team;
  • Strong problem-solving skills;
  • Willingness to travel both nationally and internationally.

Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Drafting technical specifications and data sheets;
  • Preparing calculation reports and sizing electrical systems and equipment (e.g., grounding network, lighting, cable sizing, lightning strike risk assessment, etc.);
  • Drafting load lists and electrical balance reports;
  • Preparing cable lists and electrical equipment lists;
  • Creating general single-line diagrams and measurement/protection schemes;
  • Conducting network studies (e.g., Load Flow, Short Circuit, motor start-up, protection coordination, etc.);
  • Drafting layouts and electrical drawings (e.g., equipment layout, cable routes, lighting and power systems, grounding network, typical installation drawings, etc.);
  • Managing suppliers pre- and post-order (e.g., MR, technical evaluation of offers, etc.);
  • Interfacing with disciplines that provide necessary information to carry out the tasks.
