YOUR SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in Electrical Systems design and support.
- Proficiency in CAD (Computer Aided Drafting) and technical writing.
- Strong analytical skills and safety/risk management knowledge.
- Strong technical skills and broad exposure to technical issues
- Experience in HV/LV electrical infrastructure, repair, and/or maintenance and knowledge of Navy ship systems

THE ROLE: SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Are you ready to lead the charge in engineering excellence? We’re seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design and waterfront engineering support for both onboard and onshore Naval Capabilities. This pivotal role requires holding Level 3 Engineering Authority, offering you the chance to make a tangible impact on cutting-edge projects and in-service capabilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Waterfront electrical engineering support for onboard and onshore Naval Capabilities.
- Ensure design compliance with technical requirements, cost, and schedule.
- Attain Design Authority signatory status and Chartered status from Engineers Australia
- Develop engineering task plans including staffing, cost, schedule and material requirements.
- Work along with broad range of stakeholders to ensure project and task success.
- Monitor and ensure quality and system safety requirements are met.
