Description:
We are seeking an experienced embedded device programmer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing embedded systems with a focus on IoT solutions, Android integration, wireless connectivity, and audio/video processing. This role requires a combination of low-level programming expertise and high-level application development skills, with a strong understanding of network protocols and wireless communications.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of experience in embedded systems development
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems
- Demonstrated experience with Android platform development and Android HAL
- Expertise in USB protocol implementation and driver development
- Experience with audio/video codec implementation and optimization
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP)
- Experience with wireless protocol implementations (WiFi, Bluetooth, BLE)
- Proficiency with debugging tools and logic analyzers
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement embedded software solutions for IoT devices and consumer electronics running Android
- Develop and optimize audio/video processing algorithms and pipelines
- Create and maintain device drivers and middleware for various peripheral interactions
- Implement secure network communication protocols for IoT devices
- Design and optimize wireless connectivity solutions including WiFi and Bluetooth
- Implement and maintain USB and Ethernet networking stacks and protocols
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to define and implement system architectures
- Debug complex system-level issues across hardware and software boundaries
- Optimize code for performance, power consumption, and memory utilization
- Maintain and enhance existing firmware codebases
- Create technical documentation and specifications
- Mentor junior engineers and review code contributions
