Senior Embedded Software Designer

We are currently looking for Senior Embedded Software Designer to our Danish project department. In this position, you will be responsible for the design of software solutions for a wide range of applications. The design work may be done independently or together with the team. In this key position you will also have a possibility to specify the work together with customers and colleagues as well as ensuring the proper communication and good quality deliverables throughout the development project. We expect you to take a leading role in how SW is developed in Etteplan Denmark, be proactive in relation to discover new technologies and working methodologies.
In this role you will have a perfect opportunity to combine your technical experiences and be challenged in various projects over time and participate in all stages of the Software Design Life Cycle with our customers and colleagues in Denmark and internationally.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING TOPICS ARE IMPORTANT TO US:

• Software Design Life Cycle from requirements to production.
• Experience in embedded software development. (Embedded C/C++)
• Knowledge of real-time operating systems. (FreeRTOS, Zephyr)
• Experience in building Embedded Linux systems.
• Experience with CI/CD/DevOps
• Basic knowledge of electronics.
• Knowledge of Linux Yocto / drivers / kernel / DeviceTree / UBoot / GRUB.
• Experience with communication protocols such as RS232/RS485, SPI, UART, DMA and others.
• Hands-on bring-up and functional testing experience.
• Familiar with IoT standards such as MQTT, pear-to-pear and others.
