Senior embedded software engineer

We are growing fast and are therefore looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer with leadership skills to strengthen our team. IN TERMS OF KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE YOU BRING THE FOLLOWING:

• experience with structured development processes (requirements analysis, system design, integration, and test methods)
• strong architecture, system modelling and design skills (e.g., UML, Yourdon)
• knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
• experience with programming (C) of ARM microcontrollers (e.g., STM/Nordic)
• experience with wireless technologies (e.g., WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC)
• experience with embedded Linux and RTOS, like FreeRTOS
• knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., RS 485, SPI, I2C)
• eager to learn and apply new technologies
• 10 years of relevant work experience
• BSc / MSc level of education
• Dutch and English language proficiency

In this position you have a leading role within a multi-disciplinary team of embedded hardware and software engineers. The team is end-2-end responsible for the design, implementation, testing and transfer to manufacturing of embedded products for a wide range of applications. We work for leading customers from various sectors, but we have a clear focus on industrial and medical products. It is your role to take charge in translating our customers’ requirements into quality technical solutions and leading the team in implementation. You are focused on creating cooperation and a positive atmosphere in the team to ensure successful delivery to our customers.
