Senior EMC Test Engineer

Due to continued growth my client are now recruiting a Senior EMC Test Engineer with working knowledge of EMC standards, for example, EN55022, EN 55011, EN 55014, EN 55015, Generics, EN 61000-4-2/3/4/5/6/8/11, etc.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Experience of EMC testing
• Experience of testing electronic or electrical equipment
• A qualification in an engineering discipline
• Good technical and analytical skills to support problem solving
• Proactive and able to plan work in the most efficient manner
• Methodical with a good attention to detail
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work easily in a team
• Experience of certification or quality management processes
• Experience of project management

• Perform Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) tests during the product certification.
• Interpretation and application of EMC directives and regulations in different areas such as radio frequency, multimedia, medical, home appliances, automotive, etc.
• Managing communication with customers and internal departments
• Providing customers with regular project updates and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Identification and resolution of technical issues
• Work to established test procedures and standards to ensure technical integrity and quality of service
• Assist the manager as required to identify and develop new areas of business.
