REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and investigations.
- Skills: Expertise in managing complex employee relations cases, coaching managers, and ensuring compliance with policies and labor laws. Demonstrated understanding of employee relations practices, performance improvement processes, and policy interpretation.
- Other: Strong knowledge of employment law, excellent communication and analytical skills, and the ability to provide data-driven insights to senior leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Manage escalated and high-risk employee relations cases, leading complex investigations and providing recommendations for fair and timely resolutions.
- Serve as the primary contact for site leadership teams within the assigned geographic area, building trusted relationships and providing timely data, analysis, and actionable recommendations to improve employee relations outcomes.
- Provide expert guidance on the interpretation and application of HR policies, ensuring compliance and providing insights to inform policy updates and education initiatives
- Coach managers on conflict resolution, policy compliance, and performance improvement plans (PIPs) to drive accountability and engagement.
- Support complex employee separations, ensuring legal compliance and maintaining consistency in handling sensitive cases.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of employee relations cases in the case management system to ensure adherence to SLAs.
- Deliver exceptional service in all interactions, promoting a fair, professional, and engaging employee experience.
- Contribute to strategic projects and initiatives focused on advancing the goals of the COE and the broader HR organization.
- Act as mentors to Employee Relations Advisors, providing coaching, career guidance, and support for professional development to enhance team capabilities.
- Collaborate on the design and execution of quarterly ER communication/education campaigns, using site-level insights and emerging trends to ensure relevant and impactful content.
