equivalents).
Working knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards.
Highly effective skills in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel); proficient
knowledge of Office 365 SharePoint will be highly regarded.
Appreciation of or experience working within a business environment.

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Employment Coach role, working within the Service Delivery Team has responsibility for the delivery of
high quality supports for employees. In particular, the Senior Employment Coach provides:
Assistance with identification and achievement of employee vocational goals, both within Brite and open
employment aspirations.
Supporting employees in their daily work readiness requirements.
- Supporting the operational imperatives of the organisation.
- Develop and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with internal and external contacts.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Employment Coach will provide direct services for supported team members and assist them to
achieve their employment goals. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist and support employees to meet their obligations as employees.
Work with operational staff and service delivery staff in order to meet both employee and operational
goals/targets.
Participate as required within the Service Delivery Team to administer annual Employee Assistance
Plan (EAP) and 6 monthly EAP reviews. (Including the assessment of employees, conducting meetings,
and facilitating employee goals).
Identify and assist in the delivery of employee training needs across the organisation.
- Assist in the development and delivery of ‘off the job’ training as required.
Provide general work-related assistance to employees where required, with a particular focus on
matters arising on the floor.
Participate as required with employees in achieving their open employment goals.
Accurate and up to date administration including case notes on client progress against goals, funding
requirements, periodic reporting, recording absences and individual risk assessments.
Maintaining clear professional boundaries with employees.
- Support the Wage Assessment process as it pertains to employees.
- Complying with all relevant legislation and codes of conduct.
- Ensuring work health and safety guidelines are adhered to.
- Maintaining currency with NDIS knowledge and requirements.
Working within the guidelines of NDIS and escalating relevant information to the Manager – NDIS
Employment and Training or the NDIS Employment and Training Lead.
Liaise with external agencies/support networks regarding support issues as required and in a
professional manner.
Support all processes through relevant administrative and planning tasks.
Perform other reasonable duties as directed by the Manager – NDIS Employment and Training or the
NDIS Employment and Training Lead.
Foster a culture of co-operation and collaboration and develop an awareness of organisational
imperatives outside area of responsibility.
