YOUR PROFILE & QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a professional with a holistic mindset, ideally from an EPC or from a Yard. Your collaborative spirit and commissioning acumen will thrive in our international setting.
To succeed in this position, we expect that you possess:
- An Engineering degree or similar with a strong background in both low and high voltage systems.
- Proven experience in Commissioning Management with a high HSE mindset.
- Excellent project management and communication skills, fluent in English.
- A collaborative spirit, proactive team player attitude, and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Experience with interface management across systems.
- Hand-on experience from construction, commissioning and installation works on complex structures.

Furthermore, you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to come up with efficient ways to solve obstacles.

The position is full-time, and your work location can be either at our office in Esbjerg, Aalborg, Copenhagen or Gdynia. You should expect up to 10-30 travel days annually.

Responsibilities:
As a commissioning engineer in our Product Line, you will lead the development, implementation, and upkeep of commissioning related documentation, both to be used during tendering for projects as well as for usage by our execution teams. Doing this, you will work closely together with our Tender Engineering Manager, securing both that our client needs are met whilst also ensuring that improvements are implemented.
Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and control the generic commissioning philosophy, ensuring all team members are aligned and quality standards are maintained throughout all stages.
- Plan the commissioning works and allocate resources to specific tasks.
- Monitor the commissioning activities to ensure learnings can be harvested.
- Manage the handover between tender and execution team.
- Define and prepare the offshore commissioning scope of the OSS and TOC process in collaboration with our colleagues in Site Operations.
- Working closely with our Tender team focusing on our customers Employer Requirements and Semco Maritimes own modular architecture.
- Maintain knowledge on market demand and implement product improvements and requirements for product line to fit future projects.
- Provide supervision and guidance to the development and execution teams.
The successful candidate will be expected to form strong working relationships with the other existing teams e.g., in sales, tender, project management, construction, and most importantly, our in-house site operations team.
