YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Master Degree or PhD in engineering, e.g. electrical engineering, computer science or mechatronics or comparable qualification
- Experience of power converters & systems
- Good knowledge in control engineering
- Knowledge of main converters, wind turbines and grid codes
- Good experience in HiL-Testing (dSpace) and HiL testing tools such as EXAM
- Programming experience with MATLAB / Simulink, Python
- Independent and open-minded way of working
- Overarching, interdisciplinary system understanding
- Good communication skills in English
Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for HiL-test systems for tests during development, software qualification and certification of functions of the electrical drivetrain of WTG/WF
- Specification, implementation and validation of plant models of the electrical drivetrain
- Test specification and test case development for functions of main converter controller within wind turbines
- Design, implementation & commissioning of control algorithm on the HiL-system
- Development and operation of test equipment and test automation infrastructure
- Analysis and evaluation of test results
- Concept studies based on HiL measurements for new features of main converters
- Collaboration in agile development teams and interdisciplinary coordination with stakeholders
