Our “Global Investment and Innovation Incentives (Gi3)” service line is embedded within Deloitte’s Tax and legal practice, and is focused on advising companies in their pursuit of the right incentives by developing and executing an effective incentives strategy for their specific needs. As the large majority of our “Global Investment and Innovation Incentives (Gi3)” service line consists of scientists and engineers, the Gi³ team in Belgium offers specialist knowledge and added value consulting to allow our clients to benefit from various incentives and grants related to their priorities in terms of R&D, innovation and sustainability, and to optimize their intellectual property.
In order to sustain our rapid growth, we are looking for a colleague for our Gi3 team.
Your Responsibilities:
- Advise clients from a wide range of industries and markets with respect to their R&D, innovation and sustainability activities;
- Build client relationships and gain an in-depth understanding of their R&D, innovation and sustainability priorities and intellectual property (IP)strategy through client visits;
- Collect and analyze scientific, technical and/or financial information received from our clients and assist them in qualifying for grants, funds or tax incentives on a local and European level, including;
- Identify R&D, innovation and sustainability activities eligible for grants and incentives;
- Assist clients in preparing the required application documentation;
- Guide clients through the whole application process before and after obtaining the grants, funds or tax incentives;
- Stay up to date with the most recent innovations and business drivers within your area of expertise.
- You have, preferably, between 2 to 5 years of experience;
- You are passionate about exploring the latest developments and innovations across various industries.
- You possess strong client-oriented and entrepreneurial skills.
- You are a proactive learner who adapts quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- You are intellectually curious and eager to collaborate with clients developing cutting-edge technologies.
- You excel in a consultancy setting and enjoy working as part of a team.
- You have strong communication skills and enjoy meeting new people.
- You are fluent in both English and Dutch or French, both spoken and written.
