We are looking for an Engineering Manager focused on floating offshore wind farm design for our Italian projects. You will be responsible for the overall project design integrity, scope and interface management, project certification and quality. You will be in charge of a smaller engineering team dedicated to the success of the project. You will have the responsibility of the oversight of the overall design of the project and the coordination responsibility of the design across all packages. In the capacity as Engineering Manager you will also support early project development, site conditions campaigns, PPA auctions, M&A due diligence.
This role is based out of our COP office in Milan.

Responsibilities:

  • Preferably 10 years of international offshore wind energy engineering experience, with a developer or consultant company
  • Maintain an organized and structured work approach
  • Broad understanding of the range of technologies in an offshore WF, with particular focus on site conditions and foundation design, WTG layout and production optimization
  • Knowledge and experience with windfarm constraints, e.g. technical site and permitting as well as investor and lender requirements
  • Strong understanding of business case drivers
  • Engineering degree, preferable with major offshore wind component
