The Azure CXP PRIMO organization within Azure CXP is responsible for building great products to enable Customer Success at scale, focusing on Customer Troubleshooting, Diagnostics, Workload Resiliency, Service Health Experiences, and Azure Advisor within the Azure Portal. We also build, manage, and operate critical systems required for Microsoft Cloud operations at scale, across Incident Management & Response, Quality, and Customer Engagement & Observability. We are an international, diverse team of engineers, product management, technical program management, and data science professionals. We are known for consistently innovating and creating new solutions, utilizing the latest in AI technologies to solve complex problems. QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 6+ years development experience
• A minimum of 1+ years of people management or other leadership roles
• Experience writing software in one or more high level language including C++, C#, and/or JavaScript/Typescript/React.
• Experience with one or more cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, etc.)
• Strong problem solving, design, coding and debugging skills.
• Drive for execution and results, while delivering quality software for large scale projects.
• BS or MS in computer science or related degree.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Extensive software engineering experience, including building large-scale web applications.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality, customer-focused products.
• Skilled in fostering cross-team collaboration to develop innovative solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive and engaging work environment where employees thrive.
• Experienced in growing people and teams through modeling, coaching, and showing genuine care.
• Proficient in JavaScript/Node.js/React or similar web stacks.
• Strong expertise in software design, development, problem-solving, and debugging.
• Experience with big data pipelines such as Cosmos, Kusto, Azure Data Factory, or similar technologies is a plus.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, SQL, or equivalent technologies is a plus.

Role and Responsibilities

• Leads, coaches, and builds a diverse, inclusive, high-performing team where all team members can do their best work.
• Fosters collaboration with key stakeholders, such as project managers and technical leads, to accurately gather user requirements and drive team alignment.
• Leads the charge in identifying dependencies and orchestrating the development of comprehensive design documents for products, applications, services, or platforms.
• Champions code excellence, optimizing, debugging, refactoring, and reusing code to boost performance and maintainability, ensuring maximum effectiveness and return on investment (ROI).
• Strategically guides the team in managing multiple group’s project plans, release plans, and work items, ensuring seamless coordination with relevant stakeholders, including project managers.
• Serves as a technical beacon, acting as an expert for Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) roles and vigilantly monitoring engineers across product lines, ensuring system/product/service integrity through on-call duties.
• Leads by example in product development, meticulously scaling to customer requirements, applying industry best practices for scalability and performance, and taking full accountability for any products that fall short of excellence.
