Description:
Azimuth Corporation is seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Technician in support of an Air Force customer at Hill AFB, Utah. The ideal candidate will develop training material and courses, providing all logistic support required for the training, and tracking student attendance.
Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Perform complex data collection and preparation necessary to support engineering studies and reports.
- Provide help desk support of hardware and software applications.
- Provide support of prototype & modification development and installation
- Identify subject areas pertinent to support and where instruction would be beneficial to the AF.
- Provide insight in developing a variety of training and classes.
- Provide instructors and logistic support to accomplish required training, ranging from standalone Computer Based Training Modules to multi-hour/day instructor lead courses, either in AF facilities or off-site.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Vocational/Technical Certificate OR Associate degree in Engineering + 10 years of experience
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Systems Engineering Experience and/or Certification
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / TRAVEL
- Must be able to work in an office environment at a desk and computer.
- May travel ~10% to conferences, program reviews, industry meetings, or other collaborative events. Most or all travel would be CONUS.
