As the Senior Enterprise Solutions Technical Lead, you will be reporting to the Manager of Enterprise Application Services, the Senior Enterprise Solutions Technical Lead will provide technical leadership to the Documents and Records Management operational and project teams. Document Management will include planning and oversight for operational and Project efforts for SharePoint rollout on the M365 Platform. Records Management will encompass supporting operational activities of the TRECS solution while supporting projects onboarding divisional areas to this environment. In addition, these solutions will integrate to the eSignature solution and Enterprise Classifications supported by EAS. This role is critical to driving technical, strategic direction for the document and records management initiative and will provides leadership to the technical team that will support the operational and project teams. The SESTL is also responsible for planning and coordinating the sustainment change impacts and specialized work packages for the projects, working closely with the Manager of EAS, reporting supervisors, Project Managers and other Stakeholders. This individual will focus on strong partnerships and apply proven communication and problem-solving skills to guide and assist the project on work packages related to development, integration, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities:

Your application for the role of Senior Enterprise Service Technical Lead should describe your qualifications as they relate to:

  • Considerable experience in service management and solution planning, design and deployment, considering diversity in platforms (on-premises, cloud, or hybrid), software (open source and development languages), and database environments to support the City Digital Transformation.
  • Considerable experience leading and managing teams, supporting project and sustainment activities.
  • Considerable application development experience following SDLC methodologies, Agile development & delivery methodologies, Business and Systems Analysis, QA best practices, ITIL best practices, and IT governance.
  • Extensive software product and project management experience in Documents and Records Management Implementations, with a preference for SharePoint or OpenText Content Server technologies.
  • Considerable experience managing staff resources, contractors and vendors and conducting vendor management, performance, and service level agreements.
  • Strong ability to motivate teams and create a collaborative working environment.
  • Highly developed leadership, interpersonal, conflict resolution, negotiation, facilitation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment and independently as required.
  • Strong customer service orientation and a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships and manage client deliverables and expectations.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including presenting and composing written documents to senior IT and business stakeholders.
  • Considerable Quality assurance leadership experience in software testing of large applications (unit, functional, automation, integration, system, regression, penetration, security, performance, and user acceptance testing).
  • Demonstrated knowledge, technical proficiency, and leadership experience of OpenText Content Server, understanding its architecture, features and functionalities. Software development skills should reflect experience in customizing solutions using API’s and Restful services for rendering using agile development & delivery methodologies, SDLC methodology, QA best practices, ITIL best practices, and IT governance.
  • Experience with Configuration and Administration of Document and Records Management solutions should involve configuring Content Server, managing role, permissions and workflows.
  • Extensive experience with large migrations from On-premise to Cloud solutions
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in computer science or related disciplines, paired with considerable experience working on software development projects.
  • Certified Technology Professionals and Associates certification is preferred.
