Responsibilities:
As a Senior Environmental Consultant in the Contaminated Land Assessment Team, you will take an active role in leading the delivery of projects and services. The types of duties you will excel in, and embrace are:
- Technical guidance to mid-level and junior staff to support the successful execution of projects.
- Mentoring to team members in relation to the broad skills required of a consultant, both technical and professional.
- Active participation in business development, including responsibility for building client relationships that secure repeat work, along with winning new work that supports your own professional growth and others in the team
The successful applicant to this position will have a broad range of skills that highlight your position in this specialised team. As an individual you will have personal attributes that embrace teamwork, leadership, collaboration, and positive impact. Your specific role will include but not be limited to:
- Overseeing the effective planning and execution of complex projects. You will provide technical guidance to support others on such projects as well as perform the role of Project Manager for our larger and more complex projects or Project Director and client-facing roles where appropriate. You will be supported by other senior technical and project delivery leaders, and you will support more junior members of the team
