Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Estates Manager to become part of our team in the Derbyshire area. This is a mobile position, offering a blend of home-based and on-site work, tailored to meet the demands of the business, with the option for flexible home working. You will be working across a demanding portfolio and will need strong experience within property background and delivering excellent customer service.
The salary on offer is starting from £50,000 depending upon experience plus £3,000 car allowance with eligibility for our annual 10% bonus.
This is a permanent role working 37.5 hours per week.
About the role:
Senior Estates Managers play an important role at NHSPS. They are the conduit between senior managers and the colleagues across the business who deliver for our customers and who keep the business running smoothly. The Senior Estates Manager is a Delivery role across Facilities Management and Property Management, with key customer delivery interface. The overall budget responsibility is circa £5m, over 20 properties with a Gross Internal Area on average of 20,000 square metres. Their teams are made up of specialists and team contributors, and typically they are responsible for the delivery of defined elements of the strategy and operating plans. Senior Estates Managers frequently share the same professional and technical backgrounds as their teams, and their role is to manage and coach their teams to deliver in line with targets and performance standards.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Property Management background or Facilities Management
  • Experience of line management in a busy, customer focused business
  • Experience of driving improvements to enable efficiency
  • Experience of delivering change
  • Managing delivery against key performance indicators in line with NHSPS SLAs and metrics shared with the customer
  • Managing internal and external customer relationships in a complex and changing environment
  • Ability to manage occupancies and maintain key property data across NHSPS systems
  • Delivery of a high quality, professional and robust safety and compliance management plan
